"After my car accident I was in a lot of pain. I just wanted to feel better and the pain to go away! I couldn't move my neck without feeling pain. Now I can move my neck freely with no pain. My upper back feels a lot better and my chest does not hurt anymore! I would recommend this office because it is efficient with the treatments and it really has helped me with my body pain." - Yanely O.

3. Even the most minor automobile accident can have major effects on your body. When we are involved in motor vehicle accidents, thousands of pounds of force are exerted on the body, most notably the neck and spine.
Cervical acceleration/deceleration (CAD) injuries, more commonly referred to as whiplash, occur when the head and neck are thrown or "snapped" back and forth very quickly. The result of this injury is damage to the ligaments, muscle, and discs of the neck and spine.
CAD injuries also cause impingement, stretching and irritation of the local nerves and spinal cord. This can result in headaches, numbness, tingling in the face, arms or hands. Whiplash injuries can also result in neck pain, back pain, ear ringing, dizziness, hearing loss and blurred vision.
